The European Speechwriter Network is a club for people who write speeches and care about political communication.
If you’re of a creative, literary or political disposition and you have a deep interest in the power eloquence, you’ll enjoy being part of our community.
We organise conferences, training and competitions in English to enrich our public discourse and repopularise political oratory.
Over the past 17 years, we have organised 25 conferences in the ancient university towns of Europe.
We have developed a format which means that members can get to know each other and exchange their ideas in compelling ways.
We yearn for a new cadre of politicians with the personality and linguistic skills to capture the imagination of ordinary people.
We have a vision for a new political order, where powerful language can generate collective action.
We want to teach young people the tools of rhetoric in order that they can contribute to their societies as active European citizens.
We welcome applications for membership.
.
We represent a network of speechwriters based across Europe working in many different languages.
Our members have backgrounds in banking, insurance, law, education, health, entertainment and European institutions.
Through consultation with our members, we can offer speechwriting services to anyone who needs them.
